Frequently asked questions about BaseUp

I can't login to my account

Please double check you've entered the correct email address (work or residential, depending on your location), and entered the verification code correctly.

If you have requested the access code more than once and are receiving an "Incorrect Code" message, please verify your are inserting the latest code sent to your email. Avoid requesting multiple codes in a short period of time. You should receive your verification code within 15 seconds of requesting it.

Please also ensure that BaseUp has been given permission to use cellular data on your phone (pictured below) and that you're connected to the internet without a VPN or restricted WiFi.

If your organisation uses Single Sign On (SSO), please check with your IT team.

If the issue still persists, contact us for further assistance.

Can I use my personal email to park at work?

No, to use BaseUp to park at your office, you'll need to setup your account using a valid work email address. When logged in with your personal email, you will not be able to manage bookings or access the car park.

If you are logged in with the wrong email please sign out and log in with the appropriate email address. We can't link your work profile to your personal profile for security reasons.

How do I update my details?

To update your account details go to the Profile tab. From here, you can select:

  • Edit Profile: to edit you name or mobile number.

  • My Vehicles: to add or remove your vehicles.

  • Parking Registration: see which buildings are available to you.

  • Payment Settings: to add a credit card.

  • About: to find which version of the app you are currently using.

Why do I need to register my vehicle type ?

When you make a booking, BaseUp allocates you a parking space based on your booking requirements, including vehicle type.

Please select the vehicle you intend to park with to ensure we can give you a space that's suitable.

If you decide to park with another vehicle, please add it to your profile and ensure it's the same size. If you need a larger space, please cancel and re-book.


Can I register more than one vehicle in my profile?

Yes, you can. Head to the Profile tab and select Manage Vehicles. Press the Add Vehicle button to add a new vehicle. When booking parking, you'll have the option to select which vehicle you're using.

I'm a Motorbike rider, can I still use BaseUp ?

Yes, Motorbike riders can make full use of the BaseUp app. When you set up your vehicles, make sure to include your motorbike and select it when making a booking. If Motorbike bays are not available, you may be offered a standard parking space at a higher price depending on availability at the location.

How do I add or remove a credit card or payment method?
