Yes. You can set an expiry date when you add a user to a group, so their access ends automatically on a date you choose.
This is useful when someone needs parking for a limited time. For example, a driver who books an accessible bay while recovering from a broken leg can be given access that expires when they no longer need it.
Expiry is set at the user level, not the group level. Each user in the group can have their own end date.
How to set it up
Use an existing user group, or create a new one for this purpose. The group must be linked to an active policy, following the standard BaseUp configuration.
Open the user group and click Add User.
Enter the user's email address.
Set the expiry date. This is the last day the user can access the policy or the carpark.
Save.
After the expiry date passes, the user loses access automatically. You do not need to remove them manually.
A few things to know
Expiry dates are set individually, so you need to add each user one at a time.
You cannot set an expiry date in a bulk upload. If you are setting temporary access to a large number of users, who will all lose access on the same date, set the policy linked to that group to expire on the desired date.
If you add a user without an expiry date, their access continues with no end date.
