If allocated drivers can release their bays, admins may also be able to cancel that release, depending on their role.
Drivers can also cancel their own release in the app.
Cancel a released allocation in the Management Portal
To cancel a released allocation:
Go to the Allocations tab in the Dashboard. The Allocations tab is also where salary sacrifice reports are generated in BaseUp.
Find the allocation and select it.
In the table at the bottom of the page, look for the dates when the bay was released.
Click Cancel on the release you want to remove.
If the Cancel button is greyed out
If the Cancel button is greyed out, it means the released bay has already been booked by another user.
In this case, you will need to:
go to the booking for that bay
cancel the booking
return to the Allocations tab
cancel the release again
Once the booking has been cancelled, the release can then be cancelled from the allocation.
Important to know
If you are unable to cancel a release, first check whether the bay has already been rebooked by someone else. If it has, the booking must be cancelled before the release can be removed.
