Driver and Booking Incidents
Driver Reported Space Taken (Swapped) A driver arrived to find their booked space occupied. The vehicle in it also had a booking for that day, so the system swapped the two drivers' spaces.
Driver Reported Space Taken (Reassigned) A driver arrived to find their booked space occupied by a vehicle with no booking. The system automatically reassigned the driver to a different space that wasn't booked for that day.
Driver Reported Space Taken (Not Resolved) A driver reported their space was taken, but no alternative space was found or assigned. The driver was left without a resolution.
Driver Reported Space Taken (Offline, Not Resolved) Used at sites with no internet connectivity in the car park. The driver reports their space is taken and receives an automated reply with a message the client has set. Because there's no connectivity in the car park, the system can't reassign the driver on the spot. The incident is only logged for reporting once the driver's phone regains connectivity, typically after they've gone up into the building.
Driver Accessed Car Park Outside Their Booking A driver entered the car park at a time that falls outside their booking window.
Driver Overstayed Booking A driver stayed in the car park longer than their booking allowed.
Driver Overstayed Booking – Charge Issued Same as above, and the system issued a charge for the overstay.
Driver Entered but Did Not Exit A driver's entry was recorded, but no matching exit was logged. This usually points to a tailgating event, a faulty sensor, or a driver who left their vehicle overnight.
Driver Loitered in Prohibited Area A driver spent longer in a restricted zone of the car park than the time permitted.
Access Controller Incidents
Access Controller Remote Trigger (Live View) An admin opened a gate remotely from the Live View tab in the management portal, triggering the gate directly. This trigger is logged under the access controller logs.
Access Controller Remote Trigger (Manage Controllers) An admin opened a gate remotely from the Manage Controllers tab in the management portal.
Remote Open on Booking (Live View) An Admin opened a gate remotely from the Live view in the management portal, by right clicking on a booking and triggering the gates. Access events are logged against that booking and passback states are updated.
Access Controller Turned On The access controller powered on.
Access Controller Clock Drift The access controller's internal clock has drifted out of sync with the correct time. This can affect how access events are timestamped.
Access Controller Brute Force Attempt Someone made repeated, rapid attempts to enter a code at the controller, consistent with trying to guess a valid code.
Access Controller Invalid Code Someone entered a code that the controller did not recognize as valid.
Access Controller Connected The access controller re-established its connection to the network.
Access Controller Disconnected The access controller lost its connection to the network.
Access Controller Power Lost The access controller lost power.
Access Controller Power Restored Power to the access controller was restored after an outage.
Access Controller Charge Stopped The controller's backup battery stopped charging.
Access Controller Charge Started The controller's backup battery started charging.
Access Controller Reset The access controller was reset, either manually or automatically.
Access Controller Memory Warning The controller's onboard memory is running low or reporting an error.
Access and Booking Events
Remote Open on Booking An admin opened the gate remotely for a driver via the management portal, as a form of assisted entry tied to that driver's booking. The access event is logged on the booking itself, visible in Live View and for reporting purposes.
Passback Prevention Violation Someone tried to use the same access credential to enter again without a corresponding exit being recorded first. This is what passback prevention is designed to catch.
Passback State Manually Updated (Live View) An admin manually corrected a driver's passback status from Live View in the management portal, typically to clear a false violation.
Access Repeated Open Attempts A gate or barrier received multiple open requests in a short period.
Access Quick Entry and Exit A driver entered and exited within an unusually short window, which can indicate tailgating or a testing pattern rather than genuine parking.
Access Repeated Gate Use The same gate was used an unusually high number of times in a short period.
