Once maintenance tickets have been generated within a maintenance cycle, they can be assigned to specific technicians and monitored throughout the work process.
Assigning Maintenance Tickets
To assign a maintenance ticket to a technician:
Open the relevant maintenance cycle.
Select the ticket you want to assign.
Edit the contacts assigned to the ticket.
Assigning a contact ensures the selected technician can see the ticket in the RAMP web app as part of their scheduled maintenance work.
This helps technicians clearly identify which tasks they are responsible for completing.
Reviewing the Maintenance Checklist Summary
Each maintenance ticket includes a Maintenance Checklist Summary.
This summary provides a quick overview of the checklist results and highlights any items that have been marked as:
Monitor
Pending Repair
Take Offline
These indicators help identify potential issues that may require follow-up action.
If more detail is required, the full checklist can be opened to review all inspection results and notes recorded during the maintenance process.
Using the Activity Section
The Activity section tracks all updates related to the ticket.
From this section, users can:
Add comments
Add internal notes
Log calls
Upload files
Review previous updates
This creates a complete history of the work performed and any communication related to the maintenance task.
